Favorite Living Room Decoration
One of my favorite for decorative purposes, the provision of furnishings for existing customers in new and interesting. This is called Interior Redesign. In a day or less, my partner and I turn the look and feel of our customers by switching rooms of furniture, hanging art again and re-positioning accessories. It’s amazing what you can do an objective eye and talent for drawing.
We recently completed a redesign for an internal client’s living room. When we arrived, everything was lined with their furniture on the walls, and they did not like her fireplace at all. The home was a mirror on the ceiling panel they disliked, and because he was in the corner of the room, she had found it difficult to drag furniture. She had a life of collectibles and family photos in the lounge, all of which were special to her. Our challenge was to improve the appearance of the fireplace, their treasures to see better, and give it a new arrangement of furniture that would be convenient for his family and friends.
We started using the room. Then we evaluated the shape and architecture of the room to determine the arrangement of furniture. Often, it takes place on the sofa opposite the architectural focal point that the fire was in this case. We tried fishing the sofa near the fireplace, but this time it did not work. The large sofa blocked the flow through the room. After trying a few more seats for the sofa, it became clear that the fireplace and sofa would not work together. Since the room was large and rectangular, we decided to create two separate living room and one in front of the fireplace, and the inclusion of the couch several feet away. Then, the space is really starting to come together.
We placed two chairs according wings back facing each other in front of the fireplace. Between them, we placed a small round table, together with the client ancient tea beautiful service. On the stove, we placed a large floral arrangement in the dining room, which borrowed the colors in the tea set and a pillow repeatedly. To camouflage the large mirror on the mantelpiece, we used a beautiful painting of flowers in the bedroom. Supported on the mantelpiece, he downplayed the mirror, and also supports our color scheme. A pair of candlesticks completed the look. What a wonderful place for a cup of tea.
The sofa was at anchor for another seat. We mimic the angle of the corner of the fireplace and put a antique chair beside her. In the sofa, there was now a clear vision of the piano and fireplace. Then we organized all their beautiful accessories. We have stickers on the plates and piano with his precious family photos and collectibles. We have grouped their numbers in a curio cabinet to give them meaning. The best part of the day is seeing the reactions of our customers. She was delighted with her new room.
