Building an Energy Efficient Home

There is just to know some important things to remember when building an energy efficient home. These are, insulation, air infiltration, thermal mass, windows and holes in the wall of the house lose about the same amount of energy.

Thermal mass is simply the amount of weight a certain temperature is reached and remain at that temperature. Once a house with a lot of thermal mass to reach a comfortable temperature, it tends to temperature for a long time remain, even after stopping the heat or air conditioning. Offices tend to have a high thermal mass. It takes a lot of energy to change the temperature of the thermal mass.
